    RA330 is a high-performance heat-resistant alloy that is an austenitic stainless steel. It has excellent high temperature stability, oxidation resistance, carburisation resistance and thermal shock resistance. It maintains its properties at temperatures up to 1204°C.

    Melting And Casting

    Melting is generally done in electric furnaces, such as electric arc furnaces and induction furnaces. Vacuum melting can also be used to improve the purity of the alloy.
    Casting can be sand casting, investment casting, centrifugal casting and other processes.

    Applications And Special Requirements

    Applications: Widely used in furnace vessels, bar frames, heat treatment baskets, fire extinguishers, radiant tubes, furnace fans and shafts, conveyors, crude oil heaters, steam boiler tube hangers, heat exchangers, etc.

    Special Requirements: Cutting parameters need to be controlled during machining to prevent tool wear. Use the corresponding RA330-04 welding consumables when welding. Maintain a low interlayer temperature without preheating. Use a reinforced wire weld channel.

    RA330 is not a nickel-based high-temperature alloy, but an austenitic heat-resistant alloy. Nickel-based high-temperature alloys are based on nickel with a variety of alloying elements, and have excellent high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal stability. Commonly used in aerospace, gas turbines and other high temperature areas.

    The main metallographic organisation is austenite. It has a face-centred cubic crystal structure, generally composed of equiaxed polygonal grains, and there may be twins within the grains.
