On December 23, Xiangyu Group’s 6.88 billion yuan “Indonesian 2.5 million tons of stainless steel integrated smelting project international syndicated loan” signing ceremony was held in Xiamen. Heads of relevant departments of government agencies such as the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Financial Supervision Bureau, the Banking and Insurance Supervision Bureau, and the Free Trade Commission, the heads of 12 domestic and overseas banks, including the Xiamen Branch of Bank of China and the Xiamen Branch of China Development Bank, Xiangyu Group The persons in charge attended the signing ceremony together.

At the signing ceremony, Xiangyu Group granted licenses to Xiamen Bank of China, the lead bank responsible for organizing this international syndicated loan, and Xiamen Branch of China Development Bank, a joint lead bank; Construction Bank, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, CITIC Bank, Minsheng Bank Participating banks and China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation Xiamen Branch awarded the license; BOC Xiamen and China Development Bank Xiamen Branch, CCB Xiamen Branch, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China Xiamen Branch, CITIC Bank Xiamen Branch, Minsheng Bank Xiamen Branch, etc. 7 Domestic banks and four overseas banks, including Macau Tai Fung Bank, Bank of China Jakarta Branch, Singapore Branch, and ICBC Indonesia, have signed syndicated loan agreements.

Xiangyu Group’s “Indonesia 2.5 Million Tons of Integrated Stainless Steel Smelting Project” is a national key project library project in China. It is a landmark project for Xiamen state-owned enterprises to “go global” to carry out international resource cooperation.

At the signing ceremony, the Xiangyu Indonesia project, which attracted much attention from all walks of life, debuted for the first time. The project is located in the Virtue Dragon Industrial Park industrial park in Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, surrounded by mountains and seas. It integrates 2.5 million tons of stainless steel integrated smelting plant, a total installed capacity of 1,440 MW thermal power plant, and a multifunctional terminal with an annual throughput of 40 million tons.

With the integration of facilities, the large-scale comprehensive industrial park has been basically completed, and the project is in the dawn of hope. This is a true portrayal of the Belt and Road Initiative from a beautiful vision to reality.
