In the reactor of the refinery, the production environment of the flange is very harsh, and the performance of the flange must be excellent, because there are inlets and discharge ports with pressure sensors and temperature sensors in the reactor. Three methods

This method of increasing the tightening torque of flange bolts is suitable for flange sealing surfaces with rust and slight scratches.
Grinding ring is used for manual on-site grinding repair for small-area partial surfacing of sealing surface.
Off-line repair is usually used when the crack or defect is serious, and the sealing surface must be processed, and cannot be repaired online or cannot meet the requirements.That is, the container is disassembled and transported to the manufacturing plant, and cracks are removed, repaired, heat treated, and then processed on a large numerical control device.
The disassembly and transportation of containers requires large cranes and transportation equipment, which is expensive and has a long construction period, causing great economic losses to petrochemical enterprises.

In addition, due to such inconveniences and disadvantages of container flange processing and repair on site, it is very necessary to design a process of repairing and reprocessing the flange directly on site, to guarantee real-time repair and improvement of flanges.
