Taiwan Proposes To Continue To Impose Anti-dumping Duties On Cold Rolled Stainless Steel In The Mainland And South Korea

It is recommended that Taiwan’s “Ministry of Finance” continue to impose anti-dumping duties.

Taiwan’s upstream stainless steel plant YUSCO and Tangeng were informed on July 26 that they are happy to see the government continue to implement this measure to ensure the rights and interests of the industry.

Taiwan’s “Ministry of Finance” began to impose anti-dumping duties on imported stainless steel cold-rolled steel products from the mainland and South Korea for 5 years on August 15, 2013, of which the mainland tax rate was 38.11%, and that of South Korea was 26.53%-37.65%.

In 2018, YUSCO and Tangeng demanded that the “Ministry of Finance” continue to levy, and the “Ministry of Finance” of Taiwan also conducted an investigation on August 8 2018, and asked the “Ministry of Economic Affairs” to conduct an industrial damage investigation.
