Indonesia Extended Anti-dumping Duties On Some Steel Products From China, Singapore and Ukraine
On August 6th, the regulatory documents issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Finance on Tuesday showed that Indonesia extended its anti-dumping tariffs on some hot-rolled steel sheets for China, Singapore and Ukraine for five years.
This anti-dumping tariff is implemented from 2016 and should expire this year and will be extended from August 15.
The document shows that the anti-dumping duty rate for China’s specific specifications of hot-rolled steel sheets is 10.47%; the anti-dumping duty rates for Singapore and Ukraine products are 12.5% and 12.33%, respectively. The tax rate remains unchanged.
The Indonesian government’s anti-dumping committee “considered that the exporters of these three countries still enjoy dumping profits.”
