What Is Stainless Steel 1.4307

1.4307 is an ultra-low carbon austenitic stainless steel developed to solve the problem that the Cr23 and C6 precipitation materials of 304 material have a strong intergranular corrosion tendency under some conditions.

Its sensitized state is significantly better resistant to intergranular corrosion than 304, except for the slightly lower strength, the other properties are the same as 304.

It can be welded by a variety of general stainless steel welding processes, and heat treatment can be omitted after welding.
