    Heat Treatment

    Precise heat treatment is necessary. It is heated to 885°C and air-cooled to dissolve the carbides. It is then cooled to -73°C to remove austenite. Aging at 482°C for 5 hours increases strength. Finally anneal at 677°C or normalize at 899°C.
